Conductor and moderation
Serenade für Streicher e-Moll op. 20
Ouverture für Streicher
Serenade für Streicher E-Dur op. 22
Evening... finding calm... savoring the moment... letting the soul spread its wings... experiencing the pearls of classical music, sensitively interpreted by the Göttinger Symphonieorchester... and all of this enlivened by lively moderation with exciting background information. Prof. Ekhart Wycik, internationally renowned conductor, and the string section of the GSO invite you to an opening evening featuring Elgar's wistful and melancholic String Serenade and Dvořák's melodious counterpart. Pure enjoyment! In the middle, there will be five minutes of "speed dating" with Witold Lutosławski's lively and highly energetic Overture for Strings. And who knows – perhaps there might even be a little encore that you all surely know?
