A musical reading with ballet for the whole family, featuring a text by Rosa Donata Milton.
Schwanensee
Undoubtedly, Tchaikovsky has composed several timeless works. However, as in other art forms, there are compositions in classical music that outshine everything else. Just as the 'Mona Lisa' is the epitome of painting, 'Swan Lake' is the ballet - here, to be experienced as a reading with ballet in its essential excerpts. The plot is as simple as it is magical, offering the composer a variety of possibilities with its contrasts: Prince Siegfried must choose between Odette (enchanted into a white swan) and Odile (the dark counterpart of Odette). One is pure, innocent, and good, while the other is deceitful, manipulated, and evil - albeit highly seductive. A difficult decision, isn't it?
